🌍👧🏾🧒🏾 BE THE REASON A CHILD SMILES THIS JUNE! 💜
Dear Riarians,
This 20th June, the Riara University Law Society, in partnership with Wakili wa Watoto, invites you to celebrate the Day of the African Child with children in Mathare, Nairobi.
This year’s theme focuses on ensuring universal access to water, sanitation, and hygiene for every child in Africa 💧🌱.
Rather than simply discussing children’s rights in class, here’s an opportunity to live them out through service, compassion, and community impact.
✨ What we’ll be doing:
🍲 Cooking and feeding children
🎈 Playing and interacting with them
🧹 Participating in a community clean-up exercise
📅 Date: 20th June
⏰ Time: From 9:00 AM
📍 Venue: Mathare, Nairobi
🎟️ Contribution: KES 200
Every ticket helps make the day possible and contributes to creating a memorable experience for the children.
💜 Join us as we celebrate, serve, and stand up for the rights and dignity of every African child.
📲 To register, send KES 200 via M-Pesa to 0714781692 (Name: Trevor), and use the link below⬇️ https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf2AsOLEiDV4uQ1cfM-4Euo1DyKN_bWNsqrUSxZkiyT7ja1mQ/viewform?usp=header

Unlawful death is never just an isolated tragedy, it’s often rooted in systems of land injustice, political power, impunity, and social inequality.
For the 2026 Riara Law Review theme, we invite critical conversations on “The Ecology of Unlawful Death in Kenya.”The edition seeks to interrogate the intersections of law, governance, land, socio-politics, and accountability in shaping justice in Kenya.✨
