People Positive East Africa - Welding Institute (PPEA Welding) will employ accelerated learning techniques to up-skill welders to Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Level 2 to satisfy local industry demand, including the stringent demands of the Oil & Gas sector. We are establishing a local purpose built facility to train certified coded welders accredited to UK and global insurance standards. Our courses are practical and hands on covering various welding processes, fabrication techniques, thermal cutting, mechanical and hand fitting. Some supporting theory will also be offered including health and safety, plus core skills of literacy, numeracy, IT and teamwork. Other vocational based qualifications will be available in the future.
