Benabell

Benabell Rockstar Education Centre is a mixed complementary school in Soweto slums, Embakasi North Nairobi- Kenya. The school is housed in a rented facility.

In the past 2 years, the school has experienced tremendous growth in terms of enrolment. This has majorly been due to improved academic performance that peaked in January 2014. This growth has become a challenge due to increased need and desire for more classrooms and a play ground spaces in the community. This pressure has led to over enrolment leading to congestion. The school management has, therefore, decided to request for funds to purchase and construct in a new larger piece of land which will decongest the existing ones, and create space for more pupils to be enrolled. REC has potential to increase its enrolment from the current 60 to 1200 pupils, both boys and girls. The pupils range from 1-13 years of age. The school has been a model of success for the entire area. With the help of donors, a new premise can be bought and constructed. Please join us for the sake of the pupils to make this dream a reality. The existing classes are too small to accommodate more pupils.
