We asked our teachers to share the most memorable things they have heard from learners this term. ππ€ π
No context. No edits. Just children being completely, wonderfully, unapologetically honest.
The child who wants to know why we are learning things we can search online is asking one of the most important questions in education right now. The one whose brain is full just needs a break/time-out. And the one whose mouth opened by itself; that child is going to be a lawyer. ππ§βπ
But here is the thing >> every single one of these tells us something. The pushback, the questions, the creative explanations. That is a child showing us exactly how they think. And when a child is comfortable and free to show you how they think, you can teach them well.
That is what great teaching looks like. Meeting every child where they are, even when their mouth opened by itself.Β π₯³
Come and explore with us.Β β¨
