Here’s what your journey with Ubunifu College will look like:

1. Product Design (UI/UX) with Figma – We'll start with the foundations of product design, focusing on how to create software that’s not only visually appealing but also user-friendly. In this two-week phase, you'll learn to design the look, feel, and core features of your software, similar to an architect planning a building.

2. Web Interface Design with HTML & CSS – Next, you’ll learn to bring your designs to life by crafting web interfaces with HTML and CSS. This is where your ideas take shape on the screen, building a solid foundation for user interaction.

3. Adding Functionality with JavaScript – Now that you have an interface, we’ll dive into JavaScript to make it interactive. You'll learn how to add functionality, such as responsive buttons, dynamic menus, and more, so users can engage meaningfully with your software.

4. Building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) – Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Firebase, we’ll create a basic but fully functional version of your software. The MVP will allow users to sign up, log in, reset passwords, add products, and manage content. This phase solidifies your understanding of JavaScript in a practical, hands-on way.

5. Product Development with React and Node.js – Moving to React.js, we’ll develop a more robust version of your product, ready for real-world users. You’ll also learn backend development with Node.js to add key features like email and SMS notifications and integrate payment systems such as M-Pesa’s Daraja API and international gateways like Flutterwave, Paystack, and Pesapal.

6. API Development and Integration – APIs are essential for seamless software functionality, so we’ll cover how to both build and consume APIs, enabling smooth data exchanges and expanding your product’s capabilities.

7. Desktop Application Development with Electron.js – For users who need a desktop application, we’ll explore building cross-platform desktop apps for Windows, Linux, and macOS using Electron.js, broadening your product’s reach and usability.

8. Advanced Dashboards with Python – To deliver powerful insights and manage data streams, you’ll learn Python to create an analytics dashboard, where you can visualize and interpret key metrics.

9. Business Essentials: Registration, User Acquisition, and Scaling – Finally, we’ll cover the fundamentals of registering a business, acquiring users, and scaling your product, from the first paying customer to a sustainable user base.
