Teaching is already one of the most demanding professions. Every day, teachers balance lesson planning, assessment, classroom management, mentorship and the emotional well being of their learners.

What they need isn't unnecessary interference, unrealistic expectations, or constant criticism. They need support, respect and cooperation.

Parents, school leaders, policymakers and communities all have a role to play.

When we stop making teachers' work harder, we create the conditions for better learning, stronger schools and brighter futures for our children.
