Visited Riruta Satellite High School who have been loyal users of Kamuki Science equipment. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic they have been forced to relocate. We have been unable to supply equipment and chemicals consistently due to the negative financial impact of the pandemic (costs are subsidized). Riruta teaches code so rather than let our computers sit idle in storage, Kamuki Science has donated our computers to Riruta who will put them to good use.
The pandemic has also resulted in the closure or relocation of mny complementary schools and we are looking at rebuilding and reconnecting so as to continue to supply science materials.
It will be interesting to chart a way forward post Corona. Stay safe everyone. Wash your hands and wear a mask because..... Science says so.

Just completed delivery of donated furniture to our home. Thanks to Angela Ambitho and Infotrack East Africa Ltd. We will clean it up, fix it up and share pics soon!
Gathering donated furniture to move in to our home. 3 comps already there. Just need some desks and cupboards and we are good to go! !
We have a home!!! We are being hosted at a new informal school in Kabiria which is in Riruta. We also have 3 comps so we get ready for after school science and coding in the next 2 weeks - yay!!!
Re-strategizing for new year, we need to scale up the number of schools we are reaching.
Finally an order in for 1 school. Looks like some teachers are preparing 4th form for exams. Yay!!!
The teachers strike means we are taking time to plan for the exam period and our move to our new home (fingers crossed!).
