An average of 30 long balls are made each game with most been taken by Posta Rangers FC (average of 40) and Gor (average of 35) with the least taken by KCB (average of 23) and Sharks average of 25). However Wazito (40 %) and Gor (38%) have the highest success rates of this long balls though none has led to a goal with all Gor Mahia goals coming from strategic set pieces (corners and freekicks) and crosses while Wazitos only goal being a penalty. This indicates the inefficiency of long balls and the EPL generally inversely proportional long ball to league tables standings ratio confirms this.
