This morning, the KRA Executive held a strategic engagement meeting with the Social Health Authority (SHA) focused on strengthening the delivery and sustainability of dialysis services within the SHA framework.
The discussions centered on reviewing recurring causes of returned and rejected claims, identifying practical solutions to streamline processes, and ensuring uninterrupted access to dialysis care for patients across the country.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to building a more efficient, sustainable, and patient-centred renal care system through continued collaboration and constructive dialogue.

Access remains a critical challenge for many patients — from early screening and diagnosis to treatment, dialysis, transplantation, and long-term care. Our second sub-theme, “Improving Access to Kidney Health Services,” shines a spotlight on one of the most urgent priorities in kidney care today.
We welcome abstract submissions that explore practical strategies, innovative models of care, health financing, community outreach, policy interventions, and multidisciplinary approaches aimed at improving access and outcomes for patients.
