Lodwar Vocational training Centre together with The Eldoret National Polytechnic upskilled 65 trainees who have been working in various hotels in Turkana County with the support of Tourism fund to improve their service delivery

Joined world Vision Imara program in commissioning toolkits to about 150 vulnerable students from Katilu,Lobokat and Kaputir award who undertook Technical training in Lokichar and Lodwar Vocational Training centre.
Tho will enhance economic empowerment to the youth hence enhancing self employment.

Renovation of the market and new technology of cobblestone pavement supported by ILO was today launched by H.E Dr.John Erus,Deputy Governor and Mia Seppo Assistant Director General ILO from Geneva,Switzerland.
The Cobblestone Technology was implemented by Lodwar Vocational Training Centre.Whereby 5Trainer of Trainers ,35 Paver and Chisellers were trained.
ILO also handed over Welding and Fabrication Workshop to the County after renovation and improvement.

Lodwar vocational training centre (LVTC) instructors attended Competency Based Education Training Curriculum (CBET) training facilitated by Kenya School of TVET from 29th April to 10th May 2024.
Lodwar VTC launched CBET Courses in January 2024 plumbing level 3&4 and Electrical level 3&4) Supported by Young africa works Kenya and College &Institute Canada funded by Mastercard Foundation.
Director Vocational Training Centre Mr.Stephen Eragae officially opened training on Monday 29th April 2024.
Chief officer Mrs.Leah Losiru graced the closing ceremony on Friday 10th May 2024.And thereafter He planted trees in compliance with Presidential Directive.
