Today..14th December 2018; CEMASTEA held the annual Christmas STEM day. There were at least 300 young Kenyans...ages 4 to 22. It's was about food..fun & learning....critical thinking...knowledge and character building. We hope this can be replicated across Africa.

TCTP 2017 started well today. The training was opened by Director Policy, Planning & East Africa Community Affairs Darius Mogaka Ogutu of the Ministry of Education Kenya. Present too was the Deputy Head of Mission JICA Kenya Office Mr Shinjiro Amameishi and First Secretary High Commission for Botswana Kenya Ms Florence Kokesto Chibana. They were hosted by Director CEMASTEA Mr. Stephen M Njoroge.

The theme for the training is ....The use of the 5 E Instructional Model in Inquiry Based Learning. Present are 35 participants from eight countries including Malawi... Zimbabwe...Botswana...Uganda...Lesotho...Namibia...and Ghana

Just finished the Third Country Training Programme (TCTP 2016) for Secondary on Friday 16th September 2016. The training was for participants from eight African countries. Uganda..Namibia, Tanzania, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Botswana. 40 participants attended. The training focused on Inquiry Based Learning and Peer Lesson Evaluation. Closing ceremony graced by the Chief Representative. JICA Kenya office. Ms Keiko Sano. In attendance was Mr Lee Shok Mee of SAMEO RECSAM Malaysia as well as Samuel Kibe and Niki Keina of JICA Kenya Office and, Director CEMASTEA Mr Njoroge Stephen.

Next week of 19th, September, 2016 we welcome the next team of participants from six countries for TCTP Primary.
