🌍 EduTourism4Africa – Final Meeting & Final Conference in Thessaloniki!

We successfully concluded our project with a meaningful Final Meeting and Final Conference in Thessaloniki, bringing together partners from Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa to reflect on our progress and celebrate our achievements.

During the Final Meeting, we reviewed and discussed all project deliverables and tasks, ensuring that every activity, output, and objective was completed with quality and impact. This comprehensive evaluation allowed partners to align on final results and prepare for long-term sustainability.

A heartfelt thank-you to all partners and participants for their dedication, collaboration, and contribution to this impactful journey.

🌍✨EduTourism4Africa – Job Shadowing in Thessaloniki!

From 24–27 November 2025, our project partners gathered in Thessaloniki, Greece, for an inspiring Job Shadowing on Tourism Policy and Strategy.

During this training activity, participants explored how European VET providers develop, manage, and implement sustainable tourism strategies gaining valuable know-how to strengthen tourism education and capacity building across Sub-Saharan Africa.📚

Throughout the programme, our African and European partners:
🔹 Observed real-world tourism policy practices
🔹 Exchanged knowledge on sustainable tourism planning
🔹 Strengthened cooperation between VET institutions
🔹 Built skills that support green transition and inclusive tourism development

This activity marked another important step in our mission to empower rural communities through sustainable tourism education and vocational training.

We’re proud to participate in the 4th Training Course on Supply Chain Management at the University of Johannesburg, as part of the EduTourism4Africa (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CB-VET) project.

This initiative focuses on empowering rural communities with sustainable tourism education and vocational training, driving positive change across Africa.

As part of our broader capacity-building efforts, this programme promotes institutional resilience, innovation, and evidence-based learning. The enhancement of professional competencies and knowledge transfer in sustainable tourism and vocational education, make us both capable to empower communities to take an active role in shaping their own socio-economic futures.

Training named Job Shadowing on »Prospects of Sustainable Tourism in Sub Sahara Countries« of the project entitled »Empowering Rural Communities with Sustainable Tourism Education and Vocational Training – EduTourism4Africa« was held on 30th of June to the 3rd of July 2025 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

EduTourism4Africa Training in Kenya 🇰🇪 | April 3–9

Two successful training sessions took place at the University of Nairobi as part of the EduTourism4Africa Erasmus+ project. 🌍

Participants from Africa and Europe explored sustainable tourism, vocational training, and community empowerment through hands-on workshops and collaboration. Topics included tourism market research, green innovation, and inclusive development.

Thank you to all who made this training a success. Together, we are shaping the future of tourism in Africa.
