Development approvals are usually expected to take approximately 60 days but can sometimes stretch to more than 6 months. This often translates to increase in project costs and delays in project completion.
To help drive reform, KPDA is piloting the Development Approval Tracking & Support (DATS) System. By capturing the approval delays, the data will help support evidence-based advocacy for faster, more efficient approval processes.
Experiencing a delay? Tell us about the approval, waiting period, and challenges encountered.

Your project data is stored in a private workspace visible only to you and the KPDA Secretariat. Any data used for policy advocacy is fully anonymized. All records are retained securely.

June 1, A new month. A new half of the year. A moment to reflect.
As we mark Madaraka Day and begin the second half of the year, perhaps the question isn't how far we've come.
Perhaps it's whether we're building the Kenya we keep talking about.
Happy Madaraka Day.
