What helped you most during exam season when you were a student?

MCO Exam season is often a stressful time for students everywhere. But in communities like Mathare Valley in Nairobi, Kenya the meaning of exams goes far beyond grades on paper.

When schools resume, teachers do more than teach.

They:
• Re-establish classroom culture
• Identify learning gaps
• Encourage hesitant students
• Restore academic rhythm

Our educators carry vision, not just lesson plans.

For 30+ years, dedicated teachers have anchored this work .

We are grateful for their leadership.

At MCO, teachers review lessons, reset expectations, and ensure no child falls behind.

LOL Ministries recently visited Mathare Community Outreach spending time with our teachers, sharing a Valentine’s lunch with staff, and encouraging our school community.

True collaboration is a commitment to shared goals, far beyond a simple transaction.

For over 30 years, MCO has welcomed people who believe in long-term transformation.

Today, our classrooms are full again.

After mid-term break, students have returned to MCO Primary, MCO Joy Primary, and KCO with fresh energy and renewed focus.
