Lions Club of Nairobi Karen

On Tuesday 9th June 2026, Lions Club Nairobi Karen took a long drive to Yatta in Machakos where together with the Lions SightFirst Hospital, a community medical camp was successfully undertaken. Together we served over 300 persons, with 21 people being refered for cataract removal. Prescriptions glasses and medication was also dispensed to those found in need. All persons were also screened for Diabetes and Blood pressure those found in want of further treatment refered to the nearest health facilities for further management. LCNK appreciates greatly the staff of the hospital who are like the enegizer 🔋🪫batteries. They dont stop until the last person is seen. God Bless them mightily

On 25th April, 2026, Lions and Leos had a joint general clean-up in DeepSea to celebrate the Environmental month of April. A total of 5 clubs were present(Lions Club of Nairobi Dagoretti and The Bensono Leos, Lions Club of Nairobi Karen, Lions Club of Nairobi Embakasi, Lions Club of Nairobi Greater, Lions Club of Thika Kilimambogo together with the County Government of Nairobi, Westlands. The event was graced by the District Governor Lion Amb.Simon Njoroge and Environment Convenor Wanjiru Kiriro and senior Lion Govindbhai .There was also distribution of sanitary pads and clothes to over 100 girls and mothers.
