Most countries within Africa and even beyond have a structural plans for cosmetologists and according to the International Labour organization and other local labour organizations within the various countries across the world, every profession must have a professional group they belong to, this means every person with a profession must belong to any professional group like an association/society.
Remember a time has come to up our games in the field of cosmetology. These associations increase in professionalism thus pointing out quarks within a certain profession.
According to the recent research, most business people focus on money rather than the service. Remember also it will be easy for any government to work with a professional body rather than an individual because together we bargain.
It is therefore our request for you, Cosmetologists/businesses to be certified with the relevant professional body. This certification also acts as a licence within your profession.
As the Association of Cosmetologists KENYA we are very open and get your professional licence before it is too late. All the best comrades.
