On 29th July 2026, La Salle Catholic students and staff visited Kwetu Home of Peace in Makadara to extend essential support and share love with the children as part of our Lasallian values of faith, service and solidarity with the less fortunate.

La Salle delegation delivered donation comprising of food stuffs, non food items and monetary. Beyond the material relief, we spent time engaging the children through interactive games, story sessions, which fostered a sense of belonging, dignity, hope and encouragement.

KPJSSA Chess Championship.

We are thrilled to celebrate MURIGU KANURI and KAYO KOOME for their stellar performance at the national stage in The Kenya Primary and Junior Schools Sports Association ( KPJSSA) Chess Championship.

You stepped on the national stage that had many young bright learners from across the country. Through your strategy and hard work, you delivered an outstanding performance after 9 rounds; Murigu ( 7.5 POINTS), Kayo ( 7.0 POINTS) and finishing 2nd and 3rd in the competitions.

Welcome Back Our Champions

We are delighted to welcome back our 10 outstanding students and the School Principal, Mr. Kamundi from Shanghai China where they participated in the global International Business Simulation competitions. They travelled on 28th July and returned on 4th August 2026.

You represented not only our school but our entire African region on the global stage in the competitions.

Throughout the competitions, you enhanced entrepreneurship, negotiation, persuasive presentation, public speaking, and teamwork.

Beyond the intense competitions, we are thrilled that you had an unforgettable, fun-filled cultural experience exploring Shanghai.

We are thrilled to inform you that 10 La Salle Catholic School Nairobi students departed on 28th July 2026 to Shanghai China for an International Business Simulation Competition. They are accompanied by our school Principal Mr. Kamundi Henry and will return on 5th August 2026.

Throughout this competition, our students will enhance their entrepreneurial, public speaking, presentation, teamwork, negotiation, creativity skills and enjoy global cultural exchange with other students across the globe. The students will step into corporate executives, establish and manage virtual companies, make crucial business decisions while developing and implementing strategies to drive sustainable growth in competitive virtual markets.

This trip is inline with our unwavering commitment to offering high quality education by exposing our learners to global transformative opportunities.

This competition commenced at the regional level held on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May 2026 at The Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA) Karen. Our school was 3rd overall and five-student led companies qualified to represent our school in this global International Business Simulation Competition.

We wish our delegation a safe, inspiring and successful Journey.
