MALE TEACHERS!
I have gone through the TSC website and the situation, in regard to deregistration of teachers, is very worryin.
In a period of about 7 years, the website is filled with lists of deregistered teachers, some being captioned by the website as "Hot".
If you download and open the lists one after another, you will discover that in every list, 90% if not 100% are male teachers, some young while others almost to retire.
Can we rule that all these male teachers being deregistered were all involved in CK?
Can we conclude that all these male teachers who have been sent packing were all ploughing forbidden land? I dont think so.
Even those deregistered with cases of CK, we cannot conclude that all were actually involved in those cases. We have those who did it and should carry their crosses with severe punishment but at the same time, we have some innocent faces who faced the axe after either kukosana na mwalimu shuleni, Kukosana na HOI ama hata kukosana na bibi nyumbani.
The society today has become very cruel to boychild and has learnt that one of the best weapons to put the boychild behind bars or deny him employment is to come up with cases of CK. Didn't we see a man the other day being released from prison after serving a jail term of several years for being accused of engaging in indecent acts with a minor yet it was later discovered some relatives came up with such an allegation to put him behind bars?
Now that he has been in prison for a crime he didn't commit, will he be compensated? The answer is No.
Now that he has suffered in prison for a crime he had never thought of, will the people who gave false witness be accused? Outrightly No.
If he was a teacher accused of such a crime and jailed for all those years, would he be compensated having left the prison as a person who was jailed for no crime? The answer is NO
I always advise men to abhor and stay away from crimes.
I always advise male teachers be the teachers they were trained to be and take school children like their own children.
I always advise male teachers to avoid any form of romantic relationships with current or former students.
BUT, I will request the society for one thing only;
Lets stop criminalizing the male gender simply because they are males. Lets judge each human by what they have done, not by what lies between their legs.

WE HAVE NORMALIZED NONSENSE AND WE’RE PRETENDING IT HAS NO CONSEQUENCES
A grown woman gets filmed drunk, intoxicated, half-naked.
It trends.
The country explodes.
And somehow…
the conversation is not about responsibility.
It’s not about choices.
It’s not about consequences.
Suddenly:
• “Protect her”
• “Brands should still give her deals”
• “Don’t judge”
• “She’s a victim”
No.
At some point we must tell the truth.
If someone misbehaves, they have misbehaved.
Gender does not change that.
Not every action deserves defending.
Not every behavior should be normalized.
Not every person is a role model.
We’ve reached a point where accountability is treated like oppression.
If that same situation involved a man, trust me:
• Brands would run
• • Society would mock him
• • Nobody would be fundraising sympathy
Consequences would be immediate.
But today, we are afraid to tell women the truth and that is not empowerment.
That is deception.
Look around Nairobi clubs.
Mostly women.
A few confused men.
No structure.
No protection.
No standards.
That’s why many serious men have walked away from those spaces completely.
Freedom without discipline destroys people.
Choice without consequence ruins societies.
Even scripture is clear: You reap what you sow.
Actions have outcomes.
Wisdom is not loud, it is disciplined.
Defending every behavior in the name of “society” is not progress.
It’s decay.
As men, we’ve also enabled this mess. We cheer. We film. We exploit. Then we pretend to be shocked.
Enough.
If someone makes a choice, they must own the outcome.
That’s how adults grow.
That’s how society stays sane.
Accountability is not hate.
Truth is not oppression.
Consequences are not cruelty.
We don’t need more noise.
We need standards.
