π₯ Fire update π₯
Yesterday marked one month since the fire that came as a shock to us all.
As we pause to reflect, the feeling that stands out is gratitude. π€
We are incredibly thankful to everyone who has already donated, shared our story, or supported us in any way. Your generosity has been heart-warming, and thanks to you, we are now halfway towards our crowdfunding target. ππ½β€οΈ
In the immediate aftermath, our focus was clear: reopening the school for our students. Thanks to the enormous effort of our staff, parents, and supporters, we were able to reopen on 12 January, just one week later than originally planned. It has been wonderful to have our students back on the compound, filling the school with learning and laughter. π₯°
Since then, we have entered a new phase: rebuilding. Alongside the emotional impact, we are navigating reports, insurance processes, and the very real task of recreating safe and inspiring learning spaces for our children. Our goal is to rebuild in a way that is cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and sustainable, so that what rises from this setback is something strong and future-proof. ππ±
We are committed to transparency and will continue to share updates via our Instagram page, showing the progress we make and how donated funds are being spent. π
π We are halfway there, now letβs take the final steps together.
If you are able to donate, or if you can help by sharing this video within your own networks, you are helping us turn recovery into renewal.
