WASCO KENYA WATER COMPANIES SPORTS ASSOCIATION WASCO brings together water companies involved in the delivery of water and sanitation services across the county.

The Water Companies Sports Organization (WASCO) is a sports organization formed in January 2010 by employees of water companies. The main purpose of the organization is to provide a forum for water companies’ employees to interact while competing in sports and cultural activities. The organization was registered in Nairobi on 17th August 2010 and officially launched on 20th August 2010 giving it m

andate to plan and organize annual water companies’ employees’ sports and cultural competition in Kenya. Membership of the organization is drawn from water service providers operating within the Kenyan borders. Members of the organization are free to participate in all the events during the annual WASCO Games and may send as many participants and cheering squads as they may afford.

Water Companies Sports Organization (WASCO) delegates visited for a consultative meeting on sports matters at CS water, sanitation and irrigation, Eng. Eric Murithi Mugaa. Led by Chair Emily Katambo and Secretary General Mark Werunga, they presented the patron Plaque, and the medal that he won during the 14th Edition. He pledged to support sports and culture within the water sector to foster teamwork, national cohesion, and unity. This year's annual events are scheduled for August 17th to 21st, 2026. The CS indicated that he will attend our AGM scheduled on 31st March 2026.
