Kilele Junior School

Kilele Junior is a primary school founded in 2008 by John Keya. Kilele Junior School provides education for children from 3 to 13 years old.

The majority of children are from families sudanese refugees in Nairobi. Children attend from baby class up to class 4. There are about 70 children in an area with structure insufficient for the amount of students. For this reason, since 2011 Kilele Junior School works with the support of a project called Kuleana Youth Program, such as that of institutional support and provides the coming of excha

The fundraising campaign for Kilele Junior School is finalised. All the resources from the campaign were reverted to improvement of the quality of teaching in school, as well as for the preparation of lessons and activities with the children. Soon to be released all the results of the campaign, as well as receipts and balance of all investments.

Training the Trainers is a program developed by the team of AIESEC that works in Kilele Junior School, to train the teachers and encourage them to continue with the work done with children during the two months in the school. The main objective is to increase awareness among teachers as to the stimulus to the development of Soft Skills in children, so that they grow up able to operate in society and the labor market.

Hey everyone! Here's the budget for the donations' investments so far! The balance was made on the local currency (kenyan shillings), as the dollar fluctuates a lot!
