My name is Fridah Makena, a Kenyan nurse currently working in the United Kingdom as a UK Registered Nurse (UKRN).

I completed my nursing training in Kenya and have over 7 years of experience working in healthcare, including the Emergency Department, community healthcare, and currently Intensive Care (ICU).

Having gone through the journey of building a career abroad myself, I understand how confusing the process of studying and settling in a new country can feel.

Higher Ed Study Abroad is an education consultancy based in Kenya, dedicated to guiding students who want to pursue education opportunities in the UK.

Our goal is to provide honest guidance and support to students — from choosing the right university and preparing applications to helping them settle confidently when they arrive in the UK.
