Another National Chess Championship, Another Car scooped😇. This year l really tried to grab it by launching some lethal attacks with the Jobava London System✨.Unfortunately my black repertoires completely backfired on me🥲. Have some polishing to do before the next event.I had prepared some hot and spicy deadly concoctions and risky lines only to poison myself instead☠️.But we keep going.
One thing I've learnt this year is that Hills and Valleys do coexist.
As you hope for the best, also prepare for the worst.
We live to try another day.Thank you to everyone who believed in me🙂.
Aluta Continua!
Congratulations to the new Kenyan National Chess Champion Joseph Methu👏🏼, l really admire his aggressive yet sound and seasoned playing style✨. He's quite a mentor and really deserved the win after outwitting both the Dinosaurs 🦕 and Young Turks🥷🏾 impressively.

On this special day, let's recognize the immense benefits of chess in shaping our minds and fostering critical skills that go beyond the board. Embrace the challenge, ignite your intellect and let the game of chess lead you to victory in all aspects of life.
Happy World Chess Day!
International Chess Day is celebrated annually on 20th July, the day the International Chess Federation (FIDE) was founded, in 1924.
The idea to celebrate this day as the international chess day was proposed by UNESCO, and it has been celebrated as such since 1966, after it was established by FIDE.
FIDE, which has 181 chess federations as its members, organizes chess events and competitions around the world on this day.
Chess is not just a game; it's a powerful tool that enhances critical thinking, fostering intellectual growth, strategic brilliance, fostering friendships, enhancing decision-making skills. It teaches us the value of patience, concentration, perseverance and good sportsmanship.
Today, I acknowledge the brilliance and dedication of our chess enthusiasts who have honed their skills and represented our great country Kenya with pride. Am proud of all stakeholders who take upon themselves to pass the joy of this game to thousands of Kenyans.
Share your chess experiences, memorable matches, or favorite chess strategies. Let's come together to celebrate the intellectual sport that transcends borders and unites minds.
On this special day, let's recognize the immense benefits of chess in shaping our minds and fostering critical skills that go beyond the chessboard. Embrace the challenge, ignite your intellect, and let the game of chess lead you to victory in all aspects of life.
