Word from my father
Our generation is experiencing the greatest prophetic shifts never witnessed in the Church before...
THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM
TODAY’S DEVOTION (SATURDAY 3rd JANUARY 2026)
“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.” Psalm 27:4 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 3RD DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY
There can be no strategic victory without the Omniscience God working out victory for us by giving us divine strategies to apply to our daily lives. His strategic will, power and ways will be responsible for our strategic victories.
We know Him as the God of wonders beyond the galaxies. He is not the greater God; neither is He the greatest God because there is no other God besides Him – no one to compare Him to.
He said in His word “besides me there is no other.” So, He is simply Our Great God.
The power of His greatness is beyond human comprehension. Creation speaks of His greatness. The endless Oceans and galaxies and all that man is calling the 7 wonders of the world speaks of His wonders. It is from the fountain of His greatness that the Strategic Victory prophecy will be fulfilled in our lives.
My faith in the prophecy is anchored in the revelation of His greatness and faithfulness.
Due to His greatness, it is impossible for Him to have smallness. He may begin something in a small way; over time it will become big with a perfect reflection of His greatness. If you are dealing with God, therefore, get set for greatness, because our great God does not do small things.
Our God does great things and greater things, making the paths of the uncompromising righteous to shine brighter into a perfect day!
When you see a small people looking or becoming great, it is because they are riding on the wings of God’s greatness. He said in Isaiah 60:22 “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation, I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time.”
NO SMALL PEOPLE REMAIN SMALL WHILE DEPENDING OR RIDING ON THE WINGS OF GOD’S GREATNESS.
A small David and a big giant is one perfect example. The Bible made it clear that whenever God want to reveal Himself and demonstrate His greatness, He does not use great people He uses small people. If He use great people no one will see His greatness.
He will always use small people so that all will see how great He is. That was the story of David!
For 40 days a giant stood over a national army boasting and throwing out challenges at them. None could raise their heads against him. None could depend on a great God to confront him. The entire armies of Israel shrank in fear and receded into their shells.
Even the king could not depend on the anointing of God upon his life and take the risk. But one day a small boy came to the scene and changed everything. He came to give food and supplies to his brothers in the military but met an opportunity to reveal the Greatness of the God of Israel.
The rest, as they say, is History. What is the revelation here? The revelation is simple. Whenever a big devil faces a small people, it is for God’s greatness to be revealed. The small people should not shrink in fear and run away. God allows big things to face His small people so that His greatness can be revealed through them. Hallelujah!
When God says it’s a year of strategic victory, He is also saying it’s a year of facing greater giants, things that we can only overcome by divine strategies.
Please don’t be afraid. Yes, we faced great giants in 2025 and saw God’s greatness beat them into small pieces. This year will be different. The devils will be greater so that the world and the people around us can see God revealing His greatness through us through the greater things He will do! Can someone shout Hallelujah!
YOU MAY BE THE SMALLEST IN YOUR FAMILY AND SERVING THE LORD.
You may be the smallest in your office, your city or business place. There may be big devils and giants around you roaring at you and threatening fire and brim stone. Do not panic. You are serving a great God. The great God usually use small people to reveal His greatness to men.
So, stand strong! He will reveal His greatness in 2026 – it shall be greater than what we saw in 2025.
But you must understand the key to standing strong in the face of big devils and the giants of life; you must come to the revelation of why Israel ran away from the giant and why David stood for the great GOD to reveal Himself. Our devotional text today revealed a part of David that Israel never had. I call it deep intimacy.
He was deeply intimate with God, but King Saul and the rest of Israel was not. He was a small man who spent His hours communing with a great God.
No small man commune with a great God and remain small. He will stand before great devils and unlock the greatness of God. That was who David was. His passion for the presence of God is written all over the book of Psalms. A major highlight in our devotional text says:
“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.”
If we will see GREATER THINGS this year, we must be deeply intimate with God. Like we saw earlier, we will face greater giants this year, but we have the GREAT GOD by our side. However, Israel also had Him by their side when they could not stand before the giant. They could not stand because they were not intimate with the God that was by their side.
We will do the same thing in the face of life challenges if we treat the presence of GOD the way they did. You see, if God is by your side, and you are not intimate with Him, you will never see Him rise against the enemy when He comes against you.
THAT IS WHY MANY CHRISTIANS SUFFER DEFEAT DESPITE GOD BEING BY THEIR SIDE.
In dreams and visions, they will see Him by their side. Through prophets and the Holy Spirit in their lives they will know He is by their side. But you cannot just depend on the revelation of Him being by your side without being intimate with Him. If you depend just on that revelation without being intimate with Him, you will lack strength to stand before giants and watch Him slay them before you.
Israel ran because they were not intimate. David stood because He was intimate.
God is calling us to deep intimacy with Jesus Christ; because if we are not deeply intimate, carnality will hinder God’s greatness from breaking through us to slay the big devils confronting us.
Most assemblies of God’s people today are spiritually pathetic. Local church meetings are dry and noisy. There is no power as Old in the midst of many. Instead of being filled with the Holy Ghost most Christians today are filled with the influences of religious demons.
You find people getting but not staying married because there is no power to keep them married. You find big devils bringing great homes to rubbles because those who belong there are not intimate enough for the Great God to bring the devils confronting them down.
Outright spiritual darkness is what you see in the life of those who profess to be sons of light. Sin and all sorts of deceitful living and sexual perversion now reigns from the pulpit to the pew.
THERE IS NO POWER TO LIVE THE HOLY LIFE WE ARE ALL CALLED INTO.
Big devils in charge of sin, iniquity and trespass are busy defeating many of us because they are not intimate with Christ enough to overcome them.
Financially, some are broken despite tithing and sowing seeds. The pastors who receive the money get richer and those who give the money get poorer. There is no power to prosper the givers any longer. All because we are not deeply intimate. We see the exploitation of the saints instead of equipping the saints taking place by the hand’s preachers and their members.
Physiologically, many are moving from illness to illness because there is no balm in Gilead again any longer.
The word “Gilead” means worship, and the word “Balm” means Healing. Our worship no longer generates Healing for the sick. It only generates “goose bumps” and noise. And make those who lead in songs in many Christian gatherings more sexy than spiritual.
Consequently, many get sick and die prematurely and we foolishly explain our powerlessness away with the old funeral sermon that says “the LORD gives and the LORD takes back, blessed be the name of the LORD” making God look wicked in the eyes of those stricken with the grief of the loss of their loved one.
This is a new year! All these must stop. Enough of the nonsense we call Christianity. Time to get deep with God is now. If we do not obey the call for deep intimacy, we will always be answering to the calls of our enemies. The spirits of hell, death, and grave will not cease being our companion.
A generation that will possess the gates of their enemies must not be carrying bottles of oil about. It must be deep ion their walk with God.
You can no longer afford to plant your destiny in Churches where charismatic witchcraft rules and reign among the people. Our devotional text must become our passion. Like David we must say to the LORD “One thing I have desired of you, that will I seek: that I may dwell in your house all the days of my life, to behold your beauty, and to inquire in your temple”

THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM
TODAY’S DEVOTION (FRIDAY 21ST November 2025)
“Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the LORD.
Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly.
And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel.
You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:13-17 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 325TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
God is faithful to us. He has brought us again to another day. We give Him thanks for today. We slept and woke up because He kept us. Like we often state on this platform, one may be able to fall asleep on one’s own but one cannot wake up. Only God can make one wake up.
We give Him the glory for making the most critical things of life free. He made His mercies free, miracles free, deliverance free, protection free, provision free, life on earth is not paid for. We give Him the glory for all that.
We also glorify Him for making forgiveness of sin free. Though, like stated the other day, there are preachers who ask people to give money for all that. We give him the glory and appreciate Him for not commercializing the gospel and its blessings.
We also give him the glory and appreciate Him never dealing with us according to our sin nature but according to His faithfulness. It is very saddening to have a nature that can be drawn into sin. Almost daily, as we seek to live right, we understand why Paul the apostle said:
“For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.
Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.” 2 Corinthians 5:4-5 NKJV
Obviously, the limitations of living in a body of sin, and all its consequences must have made our father Paul to write this.
It is not easy to live in a fallen nature. Our only consolation while living in this body is the Holy Spirit who has been given as a guarantee. He is here to help us live successfully in this body of sin and not follow its sinful cravings.
HIS FINAL HELP WILL BE AT THE END OF OUR DAYS, IF WE REACH THE FINISHING LINE IN CHRIST.
That is when He will completely strip us of this body and give us a spiritual body that is infallible and immortal. Some of us look forward to the day that we will be forever free from this nature, in the by and by when immortality will swallow us up and we become like the angels in the age to come.
Yesterday, we saw the first law of visionary battles that states “the enemy will not outwit you in battle, or the sons of wickedness afflict you.” Now, one people under Heaven that we can vividly see this manifesting in their lives is the nation of Israel.
The reason is because of its origin and prophetic purpose. Israel is the first, and maybe only nation under Heaven that was born by God using one man with a call from Him. Its birth took place for centuries through a call of God that came to a unique man called Abraham.
Their purpose was to receive the oracles of God for the rest of the nations, bring forth Christ for the redemption of mankind, and carry out other feats for GOD taking possession and living in the earth where the Garden of Eden once exist, and preserving the place for God. All that plunged them into visionary battles.
Many of us do not know that Israel is the only nation under Heaven whose battles with other nations in the days of the Bible were visionary. There were few other nations with few visionary battles, but Israel is the only one whose all of its battles with other nations were visionary.
In other words, they were commanded by God to fight those battles. Visionary battles also, are battles we fight in line with God’s purpose and calling upon our lives.
MOSES, THE PROPHETIC LEADER GOD USED TO FINALLY BRING THE NATION INTO BEING, SAID TO THEM:
“When the LORD your God brings you into the land which you go to possess, and has cast out many nations before you, the Hittites and the Girgash*tes and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you,
and when the LORD your God delivers them over to you, you shall conquer them and utterly destroy them. You shall make no covenant with them nor show mercy to them.” Deuteronomy 7:1-2 NKJV
All the battles they fought was to fulfill this vision of GOD for their lives. They were visionary battles. That is why you can see the first law of visionary battles fulfilled in their lives as they fought each nation or kind. Joshua stood on that law to conquer 31 kings. The law was first revealed to him when the lord said to him;
“Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.
From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.
No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:3-5 NKJV
You can see this first law of visionary battles (the enemy shall not outwit you in battle, nor the sons of wickedness afflict you) intrinsically embedded in God’s promise to Joshua in this scripture. You experience the same thing each time you fight battles for GOD.
The same God, who was with Joshua, is still here with us in the person of the Holy Spirit. That is why you find Him igniting Joshua 1:3-5 in our spirits each time He sends us to fight battles for the LORD. The verses in that scripture resounds the first law of visionary battle.
THE ESSENCE IS TO STIR US TO MOVE IN FAITH INTO THE WARFRONT, KNOWING THAT THERE IS ALREADY A LAW PROTECTING US.
It is my prayer that we will get our heart established in these laws before going out to fight any battle the LORD may have assigned to us. Never forget, you will only fail if you are doing what the LORD has not commanded you. So long as it is what He commanded, you will be protected by His law.
Visionary living involves fighting visionary battles; do not forget that, and do not mix it up. If you want to be visionary, you must be ready for battles that will come your way. There are laws that have been stipulated by the LORD to help us come out well. Go into battle with a full knowledge of them and trust Him to implement them as you fight.
Our devotional text today is about the second law of visionary battles. You can see it vividly stated in the scripture. The text is about another battle Israel fought, not to possess the land the LORD had given them, but to keep it in possession. The text says:
THERE IS SO MUCH TO UNCOVER HERE, BUT WE WILL STICK TO THE FLOW OF TODAY!!
This second law of visionary battles, as we can see in this passage of the scripture, states that “You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD.”
This is a major law of the LORD that Heaven implements when we are fighting the battles of the LORD in our bid to establish His will. It is a law that forbids us from owning the battles. It is another law that makes our defeat in battle impossible and our victory sure.
You see, it will be unjust for God to appoint us visions to live for, and when battles for being visionary erupts, He abandons us to ourselves, intellect or strength. He does not have a history of doing that. Man may work that way but not GOD.
When we are living God’s kind of life, pursuing His vision and battles erupt as a result, He will move to own the battles and grant us victory over the enemy. He will say to us “the battle is mine, step aside.”
The truth is, if the vision is God’s, the battles that may erupt as a result of pursuing it, will also be God’s. It will never be yours.
It is when the vision is yours that the battle that may erupt will be yours; and trust me, you will never come out well from any battle that is yours. The devil will wrap you up in a blanket of defeat and hide you in a hole without anyone from Heaven to help you.
It is only when the battle is the LORD’s that we come out victorious, and the battle can only be the LORD’s if the vision or the kind of life you are living is from the LORD. If the battle is the LORD’s, you will not even shoot an arrow, but you will get the victory. Sometimes, you will only sing and then watch God sink the enemy.
This law of visionary battle, just like the previous one, is a major law that makes visionary living sweet and exciting despite challenges. It is my prayer that God will use the few thoughts we have shared to keep giving you victory in every battle you may face in life. Amen and amen!
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!
“Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.
For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.
So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped.” 2 Chronicles 20:22-24 NKJV

THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM
TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURSDAY 20TH November 2025)
“And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.” Revelation 12:3-5 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 324TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
Thank God for another day. Yes, thank God for not giving Him any money to be able to sleep and wake up. That is a sign that He still loves you.
Thank Him for not monetizing His mercies, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, healing, peace, victory in warfare, etc. Thank God for bypassing the preachers who monetize His gifts and placing His blessing upon your life. All these shows one thing.
It shows that a preacher or prophet may use some scriptures in the Bible to collect money from your hands for you to get a miracle form God, but God will never collect money from your hands to give you anything. All He does to us is freely.
You see that in all the miracles Jesus did for people when he was physically here, and all the miracles the apostles unlocked for people in the days of the early church. Some preachers may collect monies form us, but God does not and will never collect money from us to give us His miracles, signs and wonders.
His love is too strong to collect money from you to give you anything. It is too strong for Him to collect money from you to forgive your sins. It is too strong for you to pay for anything He owns. That is why none of us have ever given God money to be able to sleep and wake up. The Bible says, “For so He gives His beloved sleep” (Psalm 127:2).
The Bible also spoke about the rise of false teachers nowadays.
SADLY, THERE ARE SO MANY, EVEN WITH MIRACLES TO BACK THEM UP.
Today, due to the many lies and half-truths that have been peddled by these preachers, like we said, with even miracles to back them up, a lot of believers will need thousands of seminars to understand that they do not need to give God anything to get anything from Him.
They will need countless seminars of life transforming truths to vomit all they have believed.
Your life is a product of your belief system. It is what you believe that we see in your life. If your life is sinful, wicked and or not progressing, your belief system is responsible. Your belief system is a product of what you have been hearing.
To change your life, you must change what you have been hearing, which should lead to changing your belief system. You must come into the realm of sanctified and progressive truths from God. You must cut off from all false teachers and their half-truths.
God gives all things freely, they all come to us by faith. That is why yesterday’s devotional and the one before yesterday are very vital. The Bible says the Just shall live by faith. We looked at the laws of faith, and how it helps us to lead visionary lives.
Go back to those devotionals and absorb them again for you to understand how to get things freely from God by faith.
Understand the part that defined faith as a titled deed, and revisit how Hannah got her barrenness terminated without sowing a seed, buying or anointing herself with oil, or using water or salt to pray despite being in the Old Testament. The Bible calls them the laws of the LORD. It says they are perfect and can do anything in our lives.
LIKE WE SHARED IN ONE OF THOSE DEVOTIONALS, THESE LAWS ARE STRONGER THAN PRAYER.
If you are prayerful but do not obey them, your prayers will remain unanswered. It is prayerful people who walk in the laws or the principles of the LORD that governs different blessings in His kingdom that get results when they pray.
So, this morning we will be looking at another law of visionary living called “the law of visionary battles.” Yes, there are battles in life and there are visionary battles in the lives of visionary people. Visionary battles are not ordinary battles. They are products of our mantles, mandates and ranking in the kingdom of God.
Paul called his own visionary battles “fighting with the beast of Ephesus.” He said he fought with the beast of Ephesus. Those where beastly men and women who were instigated by hell to withstand his decision to live for God and be a God given visionary man in his generation.
At one time he had to deal with Elymas the sorcerer who tried to turn another man from the ways of God.
Paul’s visionary battles, happened because of his divine mandate, mantle and ranking. He was mandated to deal with falsehood and neutralize false apostles and all that with the mantle of an apostle of Jesus Christ.
There are many others who fought visionary battles in the early church but let take a look at the Old Testament. One person we can also see who fought visionary battles in the Old Testament was Jeremiah. His mandate was almost similar with that of Paul, but his was heavy on false prophets, Baals and all the paganism that the people of his day adopted.
At one time Jeremiah got so wearied and GOD said to him;
“If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, In which you trusted, they wearied you, Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?
For even your brothers, the house of your father, Even they have dealt treacherously with you; Yes, they have called a multitude after you. Do not believe them, Even though they speak smooth words to you.” Jeremiah 12:5-6 NKJV
If God commission you to fight against paganism in any generation, get ready for the worst of hell. If your God given vision is truly God given, it will create sparks in the spirit realm and ripples in the camp of the enemy. You will fight a lot of visionary battles.
Now, what are visionary battles? Visionary battles are battles we fight to bring our God given visions to pass in a wicked world. They are conflicts, that the enemy creates, instigates against us, or throws on our paths to hinder our decision to spend our days walking in the Spirit, and looking into the face of He who is invisible, and doing His blessed will.
Visionary battles are battles we fight for deciding to lead visionary lives that are guided and governed by the LORD. If you think you will have it easy with people, policies, places, and human systems when you decide to lead a God ordained visionary life, then you do not know what you are in for.
Visions from God will be resisted by men and women who are not sold out to God. People in Christ who decides to lead visionary lives from God, will be fought and resisted by hell. Do not be mistaken about it. That was why as soon as God called Abraham, He said to him “I will bless those that bless you, and curse those that curse you.” God did that because he knew what hell will attempt to do to Abraham and his descendants.
CHILD OF GOD, SATAN HATES PEOPLE WHO LEAD GOD GIVEN VISIONARY LIVES.
He knows that every God given visionary is playing a major role to fulfill the prophecy of the prophetic male child in the book of Revelation 12 who was destined to smash his works on earth and rule all nations with the rod of Iron. Our devotional text says;
If you are visionary in God, you fit into the prophetic male child in this scripture. Every visionary person in God fulfills their own portion of what the word says about that child. Their visionary living smashes the gods of the nations and works towards bringing the nations under the rulership of Christ, the Male child in this prophecy, because of that, they will be fought. Satan will mobilize his host to come against them as a dragon.
A template of the warfare we see in Revelation 12; the warfare around the Prophetic child, will be extended to them. But the intervention we also see there, where the Child was caught up to God and His throne, will also be witness by them. Hallelujah!
The enemy will not be able to outwit such people in the battle he prepares or wage against them. They will be caught up to God and to His throne and live their earthly lives from there, far above principalities and powers, while living for the LORD and doing His blessed will.
Which brings us back to the first law of visionary battles. The law states that “the enemy will not outwit you in battle, or the Sons of wickedness afflict you.” It is a major decree of the watchers that will not cease manifesting in the lives of God given visionary men and women because all devils are bound to obey it.
You see that in the lives of Jeremiah, Paul and the rest of our Bible fathers who were fiercely fought by hell. You see it in the lives of all who are mention in Hebrews 11. If you are living a GOD given visionary life, you are the next to see the results of this law.
Unfortunately, that is all we can take for today. let what we have shared ignite our faith for victorious visionary living in Jesus precious name, Amen!
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!
“And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment.
They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented—
of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth.” Hebrews 11:32-38 NKJV
