Anxiety is not only in your mind but also in your body. Relaxing the body is as important as relaxing the mind. Changing the rhythm of your breath can signal relaxation by slowing your heart rate.

Second Quarter of Pocket Therapist takes you through the breathing technique called Progressive Muscle Relaxation. It will help you to reduce tension in your muscles that is often a consequence of persistent anxiety.

You can read about Generalised Anxiety Disorder on www.essenceofpsychology.com and watch the full video on our youtube channel.

Order OCD is when you feel forced to rearrange items around you. For example, you must have plates in the cabinet in a certain way or you cannot leave the bathroom unless you place your cosmetics in the way it feels right.
