Establishing governance, accountability, transparency, and ethical leadership as core principles is critical for the Methodist Church in Kenya (MCK) to resolve its ongoing leadership crises and ensure sustainable growth. Recent developments underscore that these values are not only spiritual ideals but essential administrative tools for rebuilding trust and institutional stability.

MCK needs protection against internal and external enemies that have attacked the Church through physical, mental and spiritual three Ds: Defilement, Deceit and Division. This plague has deprived us of wellness and invited external interferences and worldliness. The good fight of faith towards wellness demands righteous courage and authority that emanates from believers who are set free indeed through the Blood of the Son (John 8:36). These know freedom from all forms of bo***ge: physical, mental and spiritual as well as liberty from fear, sloth and ignorance. Defilement, Deceit and Division are evident in MCK today due to the Church’s current spiritual starvation.
