Every journey supported | Every possibility encouraged | Family for life.
Our first assembly of Term 1 brought the whole school together to reflect on our value for the term: Respect.
Respect: for ourselves, for others and for our environment.
It was wonderful to see our students looking so smart, showing pride in their uniforms and encouraging one another through the first week of school.
We were also delighted to welcome Rev Peter, who has joined the SCIS Family as our School Chaplain. Rev. Peter will work closely with pupils and staff throughout the year, supporting the spiritual and pastoral life of the school and contributing to our wider Values-based Education programme. He will also share a weekly Chaplain’s Corner through our SCIS Star magazine, providing reflections for pupils, parents and staff as we journey through the year together.
Our student leaders—Head of School Vania, Head Boy Jesse, Head Girl Aimee and Head of Wellbeing Rosemary—took the opportunity to chat with Rev. Peter and share their goals and ambitions for the new academic year.
A wonderful start to the term, grounded in respect, encouragement and community.
