Role models are nothing more than a reflection of what we value. When we value honesty, integrity, doing the right thing, morals, leadership and hard work, we become role models our selves. Since we instead value fame, celebrity, possessions and living an ostentatious life style those are the role models we think everyone else needs.

But just like charity begins at home, role modelling begins with ourselves. I still challenge all you out there that had the opportunity, no privilege of going through the centre. Let us give back to the hand that feed us. Let's be the role model for the children currently living at the centre. They need you.

Why are we looking for strangers for help? Why are we not willing to see that we are in a position to help? Imagine if during your time there no one helped out. Would you be where you are today? I think its time we looked into our hearts and made that decision to do something. You don't have to be rich to give. you only need to give 10%. 10% of 100 shillings is 10 shillings. it will not make a big change in your life style. If 1000 people gave 10shillings it all adds up. The saying goes if you can not give 10% when you have little (100) . then you definitely will find it hard to give 10% of 1Million that is 100,000. think about that. Start learning to give early and you will find it easier when you have more.

MERRY CHRISTMAS . And am so happy to say that the kitchen is complete and now in use starting on today 25 th December 2023.

Greetings, everyone! A heartfelt update: I embarked on a long journey 899km in September and Octoberto raise funds for the home. It took 40 days of sweat, tears, rain, heat and very very sore feet to complete the walk across Spain. Now, the focus is on renovating the kitchen, a crucial space for the home.

Your continued support is invaluable, and we're still collecting funds even after the walk to ensure the well-being of these deserving children. The kitchen, a symbol of nourishment and care, is a work in progress, and we rely on the generosity of those who believe in giving.

To our ex-students, December beckons as a month of giving and goodwill. Take a moment to reconnect with your old home; it's the foundation that shaped where you are today. Your support, be it through contributions or spreading the word, is vital.
