Before the reward, there must be labour.
We caught up with Samuel, a farmer from Chuka in his farm. The recent rains brought with them bountiful harvest!
While we live to tell authentic African stories, the positive ones are the most rewarding to document.

The localisation agenda is transforming the international humanitarian system.
Having national and local actors at the forefront to lead the action and receive a much larger share of the available funding directly is ensuring more impact of programmes in the Global south. This is largely due to the fact that local actors have usually better access to places, information and knowledge of local cultures, sensitivities, practices, priorities and needs.

A water pan in Badana, Garbatulla.
This is drinking and cooking water for the community members in this area. Here's an interesting fact, this is actually water from Mt.Kenya that flows all the way down to Isiolo. In the midst of this drought, this rain water is everything to this community.
