Arabic Languageis a course available to be undertaken at MTTC with no minimum qualifications.

The course runs for two (2) years and entails teachers practice before certification.

On completion you will be qualified to teach Arabic language to lower classes at DECTE/DPTE schools as well as in Madrassas.

Madrassa teacher education is available to be undertaken at MTTC with any of the following qualifications:

•Any KCSE grade.
•Class 8 leaver.
•School dropout.
•University with no Islamic background.

The course runs for two and a half years and entails teachers practice before certification.

On completion you will be qualified to teach in Madrassa & tahfeedh as well as DECTE/DPTE schools as an IRE/ARABIC teacher!

Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) is available to be undertaken at MTTC with the following minimum qualifications:

•A minimum of C (plain) in KCSE with a C (plain) in the following cluster subjects English & Kiswahili, Mathematics, Humanities(any), Science (any).
•For candidates with disability C- in KCSE.

The course runs for three (3) years and entails a two school term teachers practice before certification.

On completion you will be a qualified Primary School teacher (grade 1-6)!
