We began the week on a high note with a vibrant and inspiring school assembly. Our learners led us in beautiful hymns, followed by a reading from Book of Psalms, reminding us that God is our refuge and strength. The assembly continued with a heartfelt word of prayer, setting a positive tone for the week ahead.
The Journalism Club then shared the highlights and achievements of the previous week, keeping the school community informed and inspired. To crown the morning, the Music Club treated us to a melodious performance of Beautiful Day, filling the atmosphere with joy, energy, and optimism.
It was a wonderful start to the week, showcasing the talents, faith, leadership, and creativity of our learners.

Sharpening Debate & Public Speaking Skills | MUN Oxford Corridor Kenya Visit
Our Junior School learners had the privilege of hosting two distinguished guests: a seasoned Debate and Public Speaking Judge and a Lawyer who serves as the Head of Training at MUN Oxford Corridor Kenya. The interactive session was designed to sharpen learners' communication, critical thinking, leadership, and persuasive speaking skills.
During the training, learners were introduced to the unique world of Model United Nations (MUN), a form of debate that moves beyond the traditional proposer-versus-opposer format. Participants were assigned random identities such as countries, colours, or animals and given thought-provoking topics. They then engaged in discussions, negotiations, and persuasive arguments aimed at convincing others and building consensus.
The session challenged learners to think on their feet, articulate their ideas confidently, listen actively, and collaborate effectively—essential skills for future leaders in a global society.
The workshop was attended by all English teachers and the School Principal, underscoring our commitment to nurturing confident communicators, critical thinkers, and responsible global citizens.

🏐✨Learning Volleyball Basics | Grade 5 Sports Activity 🏐💫
Our Grade 5 learners at Kijani Ridge School took part in an exciting and educational volleyball lesson where they explored the fundamentals of the game. Through demonstrations and practical activities, learners gained an understanding of the basic rules, serving techniques, passing skills, court positioning, and the importance of teamwork.
Sports play a vital role in developing discipline, communication, coordination, confidence, and healthy lifestyles. This activity provided learners with an opportunity to strengthen both their physical abilities and collaborative skills while having fun.
We are proud of our Grade 5 learners for their enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and willingness to learn new skills.

🏆 Our Senior School teams once again demonstrated excellence, determination, and teamwork by advancing to the Semi-Finals and bringing home medals and a trophy.
These achievements reflect the values we hold dear at Kijani Group of Schools—hard work, discipline, confidence, and the courage to pursue excellence.

✨💫 Bright Smiles, Healthy Futures – Colgate Dental Hygiene Sensitization at Kijani School😊🥳
Today, our learners had an amazing and educative session courtesy of the team from Colgate who visited our school to sensitize learners on proper dental hygiene, hand washing, and general oral health care.
The session was interactive, lively, and full of smiles as the learners engaged with the dentists, especially the famous “Doctor Rabbit,” who made learning fun and memorable for everyone. The learners were taken through the correct way of brushing teeth, the importance of maintaining oral hygiene, and healthy habits that promote a clean and confident smile.
To crown the wonderful experience, every learner received a toothbrush and toothpaste gift pack from the Colgate team.
We sincerely appreciate the Colgate team for investing in the health and wellbeing of our learners and for making the day both educational and exciting.
