"South Africans will kick down a statue of a dead white man but won’t even attempt to slap a live one. Yet they can stone to death a black man simply because he’s a foreigner"- Robert Mugabe-
It's very sad that an African can call another African a foreigner. Apparently, South Africa is forgetting how the rest of the continent stood with them in their fight against Apartheid. Now that the war against apartheid is over, does it mean that they arise against their own? Where are the Values of Ubuntu they strongly believed in? Is that the South Africa Nelson Madiba Mandela spent 27 years in jail for when he had the option of choosing a good life at the expense of the rest of South Africa? It beats logic that we can chose to direct our energy to the wrong areas where as we could do much more than we imagine only if we had a spirit of brotherhood that our great leaders like Kwame Nkrumah and Julius Nyerere preached.
I stand to be corrected but I strongly understand that the only thing that could make someone kill another brother in circumstances such as this one, is luck of love and a sense of humanity deep within ourselves. Good people let us love each other no matter the situation, let us make Africa a better place than it was when we received it from our founding fathers who tirelessly fought for its restoration and redemption. Everyone is just as important no matter their nationality nor the skin color nor the language they speak nor the tribe they come from nor their economic status. I strongly believe and know that we can do this if we make personal decisions to live out love in words and in actions.

The value of a book is measured by what you get from the book.
God grant us the serenity
to accept the things we cannot change;
the courage to change the things we can;
and the wisdom to know the difference. Amen.
The pathway to greatness is servanthood.
Are you susceptible to change? Interested in turnaround strategies? Then watch out for this...
"Despair is the worst leadership sin one can ever do". Friends as we work together to restructure our club, be boldly encouraged not to give up because leadership matters when the circumstances are hardest. Lets all take up the inspiration of transforming a life and soldier on to prepare a future for the next USIU generation.
There is one constant rule of leadership, 'You cannot give what you don't have'. Friends if we are to lead ASA-USIU to another level, let's start by leading our lives and allow the spillover of greatness to effect change in others. .
Sometimes we get absorbed so much in the past or focus so much on the future that we miss out on the very present. Thank God for today.
