As practitioners Songa Ogoda & Associates boasts in the course of the practice of having trained many imminent quantity surveyors in Eastern Africa Region most of whom are our proud competitors. Songa Ogoda & Associates have provided quantity-surveying services on numerous projects and to different clients. An initial emphasis on commercial developments in the early years of the practices has broadened to include local and foreign aided rural development and welfare projects both within and beyond the frontiers of Kenya. Our clients now include the Kenyan Government, Parastatals, Universities, World Bank and affiliated funding agencies: banking institutions, Non-Government organizations industrial and commercial companies amongst others. The services we have provided are as varied as the clients and these include services on housing, hospitals, health centres, dispensaries, office blocks, hotels, warehouses, banks etc. Due to established systems, Songa Ogoda & Associates have always risen to the challenges of quantity surveying which to be successful, require extremely competent and qualified personnel with the back-up of historical cost records, technical information, cost planning and estimating, contract information and cost control techniques. Songa Ogoda & Associates is retained by Lakes Consortium Limited, Rwanda as in-house quantity surveying consultants. The firm’s experience within Kenya and in the region cover Rwanda, Somali, Sudan and Uganda, amongst others. Songa Ogoda & Associates has been incorporated in South Sudan in order to offer quantity surveying and project management services closer to the people of South Sudan with offices located in the Capital City, Juba. The Sudan office with two local directors, Mr. Salah (a Sudanese National) continues to enjoy the services and expertise from Nairobi staff.
