Something very special took place at Maxwell Academy the morning of September 30, 2025. Ground was broken for an extension to the girls’ dorm. Students and staff gathered for a dedication ceremony that included prayers and a special litany. Then the administrators, girls’ deans, and the Student Association president officially broke the ground.

Maxwell Promo Video An Overview of MAA

Peanut Carnival is the annual Maxwell fundraiser and one of the favorite activities on campus. Classes and other groups raise money by selling food and offering a variety of activities. This year's Peanut Carnival was held on Sunday evening, October 27, 2024.

On Thursday, October 17, 2024, those still on campus during the mid-term break, along with many of the staff and their families, got to participate in a very special activity, one that many had never done before - ice skating. Some found it a bit easier than others!

Maxwell's midterm break took place from October 15 to 21, 2024. Most of our students traveled off campus to visit family or friends, but a small group remained on campus. On Wednesday, October 16, this remnant enjoyed an outing to the Village Market Mall and some bowling.

Our campus is so blessed each October to be showered with purple petals.

The Saturday Night Activity for October 12, 2024, was dodgeball Students competed by class and then the winners enjoyed a game against the staff.

Following the Divine Service on Sabbath, October 12, 2024, as a culmination of the Week of Prayer, five students and a staff member were baptized.

From October 7 to October 1,2 2024, Maxwell enjoyed a special Week of Prayer. The speaker, Dr. Dennis Matekenya, spoke on "Youth at the Crossroads" and highlighted the stories of a number of young people in the Bible. The final day, Sabbath, October 12, the church service was blessed with instrumentalists accompanying the congregational singing.
