PSSA is a student organization that brings together all the students specializing in procurement and supply chain. On this page, members can interact.
The organization was formed in March 2010 following the split of Management Science into three areas of specializations; Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management and Business Information Systems. It was officially registered with the Office of the Dean of Students( The University of Nairobi) on 12th April 2011.

The Kenya Institute of Supplies Management Council, in its meeting on July 17, 2024, approved the Certified Procurement and Supply Professional of Kenya (CPSP-K) Certification, administered by the Kenya Institute of Supplies Examination Board (KISEB), as the sole and mandatory qualification for KISM full membership effective January 2025. This is applicable for those seeking new membership of KISM. Existing members will not be affected as their membership aligns with the provisions of the Supplies Practitioners Management Act (SPMA) of 2007.
