I pray for Your guidance and light, my Lord, for I am but a lamb in the wilderness without you. When darkness settles down upon me, may you light a path to your loving embrace. When darkness obscures my way, fill my soul with the courage to trust in Your Holy word. For Your Testament is the lamp upon my feet, whose flames consume all darkness. Hosanna in the Highest, Amen.

Heavenly Father, help me find the courage to look within my own soul with unremitting honesty. Further, grant me the courage to remain earnest with my neighbors, not to lie or deceive. May our truth and the truth of Your word serve as the basis of our brotherhood. Amen.

Lord my Savior, aid me in safeguarding Your word, as I do Your bidding in bringing others closer to You. Cleanse my soul so I may better do Your bidding. Let me not stray far from Your path, and help me to preserve Your message of truth and peace, in sharing it with all of mankind. For Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the Glory, forever and ever, Amen.

Many of us remember the game of Chinese whispers or telephone, where messages whispered in others ears and passed along may end up getting distorted in the end. So too, must we be cautious when spreading the gospel of Christ. One must first look into one's own heart and ensure that it is pure, for being a disciple is also a great responsibility who is often on the front line of bringing the salvation of Christ into others' hearts. Be sure to preach and spread the word of God not for oneself, for one's personal prestige or own selfish motivations, but for God and His glory alone.

God did not appoint us to wrath but to obatin his salvation in Christ, through faith. Therefore, whether we be alive physically or not, we are still alive spiritually. We are always with Christ, for wherever we are, we are in spiritual union with him.

1John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our.
The verse emphasizes that it is not we who loved God first, but rather God who loved us first. This idea is also expressed in John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The love of God is selfless, sacrificial, and unconditional.

The verse also refers to Jesus as the "propitiation for our sins." The term "propitiation" means the act of appeasing or satisfying a deity's wrath. In this context, it refers to the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, which atones for our sins and reconciles us to God. Through Jesus' death and resurrection, we are able to be forgiven of our sins and have a restored relationship with God.
