Trinity Pastors' College

In the last module, which took place between March 11 and March 18, 2026, the students were taught Pastoral Theology. Jon Hueni was the main lecturer, assisted by Murungi Igweta and Paul Ruhiu. We are thankful to God for His guidance thus far, and we pray that the students will experience more of His grace as they press on with their studies.

Seeing godly and humble men who rule well in their local churches by laboring in preaching Christ, is the reason why we exist.

We do that by offering a three-year Bible-saturated and God-focused training to the men who have been entrusted to us by God.

Please pray that more than anything, these men will image Christ in their lives and ministries.

From September 10–17, our students had the joy of being taught on the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit by Pastor Tom Hicks, who was accompanied by his wife, Joy. Tom serves as pastor at First Baptist Church of Clinton in Louisiana, USA. His presence was a great encouragement to the students.

We give thanks to God for our faithful gospel partners—those who pray, give, and support the mission of TPC in countless ways. Your partnership in Christ is a great encouragement to us. Please know that you share in the work of equipping TPC men for the work of ministry, for the glory of Christ.

As we look to the days ahead, we trust in the same God who upheld faithful laborers before us. May He grant us untiring zeal, wisdom, strength, and grace to serve for the sake of Christ and His kingdom.

Here at Trinity Pastors' College( TPC), we thank God for how He has generously provided for the training of men, who rule well in their local churches by preaching and teaching. We had a successful May module. The students were taught Covenant Theology and also introduced to Biblical Theology. The lecturer was Ben Carlson, one of the elders at Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Owensboro, Kentucky. We are thankful to God for His labour of love in our midst.

We pray that the Lord will continue to raise men who are zealous to see God glorified as sinners are saved from their sins and saints are strengthened in their faith.

Our prayer is well captured by the following a portion of a hymn written by Mary C Gates:

Send men whose eyes have seen the King,
Whose eyes have heard His summons ring;
Send such Thy lost ones home to bring;
Send them where Thou wilt come.

Faithful men who lead and shepherd the church of Christ by and through His word, are a gift from God.

TPC exists to train such men so as to be better equipped in the noble task of being a pastor/elder and to prepare those who aspire to be elders/ pastors.

The photos below capture the students, teachers and some of the board members of the college in the last module which happened in March(12-19). The students were taught on Hermeneutics( Faithful interpretation of God's word) by Pastors Nate Davidson and Tonny Karwa.

We praise God for granting the students a successful time of learning. Oh how we pray that as a result of these classes, the students will know the Triune God more and faithfully preach God's word.

The 2nd and 3rd year students were taught Homiletics (Preaching) and General letters(Hebrews, James and 1 Peter) by Pastor Murungi Igweta.
The 1st years were taught Introduction to Systematic Theology and Doctrine of Scripture by Pastors John Vondoloski and Stephen Silamo.

Praise God from who every blessing flows!

Thanking God for the year 2024. All the modules were successfully done. The lecturers availed themselves to spend and be spent for the Lord. The students willingly sat under the teaching of God's word so that by God's grace, they may godly and holy men who shepherd well their flocks by preaching and teaching God's word.

Trusting God for more of His grace in 2025 in all that we do as we seek to expand His kingdom for the strengthening of saints, the salvation of sinners and the glory of God.

Our hearts are filled with thankfulness, when we see men successfully go through training at TPC from the beginning to the end. And on Saturday 16th Nov, 2024, we'll have a graduation ceremony at Trinity Baptist Church to thank God for and celebrate the achievements of men who have successfully gone through the TPC program. You are invited to this event which is scheduled to begin at 10:00AM.
