FRIDAY: ADVANCED GI CLASS

Looking at some advanced passing in the gi, chaining together some of the passes we’ve been working on to put the pressure on our opponent’s guard.

Unfortunately due to the governments latest announcement all classes are cancelled indefinitely. We hope to have some positive news for you all soon 👊

THURSDAY

Amazing classes tonight. Our advanced guys continued their study of d’arce, anacondas and Japanese neckties. We’re starting to see some very tight chokes being applied in rolling which is awesome to see.

The beginners have smashed the early ground work so tonight we had our first look at wrestling - maintaining the distance and shooting in whilst avoiding punches.

Great work, it’s an absolute pleasure to coach you all 😄👊

TONIGHT

1800 - 1930: Advanced class
1930 - 2030: Beginner class

The beginners will be continuing their great work with the triangle choke. We’ll be looking at the finer details that’ll ensure our opponent taps or naps 😴

WEDNESDAY: ADVANCED NOGI

Continuing our chokes series. Looking at the relationship between arm in guillotines, d’arce chokes, Japanese neckties and anacondas. If you have one, you’re never far away from the others. We’ll spend a couple weeks on this and get everyone latching on to those necks 🐍

TUESDAY BEGINNERS

Looking at how we use the closed guard to avoid big heavy punches and control an attacker’s posture, followed by an introduction to the triangle choke.

We’ll be sharpening up our triangle technique on Thursday, so it’s not too late to learn if you missed out last night 😝

TUESDAY BEGINNERS CLASS

Continuing with our beginners course tonight. Looking at controlling an attacker who is trying to punch us in our closed guard, negating his punches and putting him to sleep with the triangle choke 👊❌

Slight change to the timetable to follow. But for tonight the times will be:

1800-1930: advanced gi class with coach Jack
1930-2030: beginners class (nogi) with coach Jack

See you there!
