The Centre for Research in Religious Life and Apostolate (CERRA-Africa) is a Data Centre which is a collaboration of The Association of Sisterhoods of Kenya (AOSK), The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and Tangaza University College (TUC). CERRA-Africa is hosted at CUEA and has been made possible through the partnership with, and funding by Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
The official opening of the CERRA-Africa Office was graced by the current Archbishop of Nairobi His Grace Philip Anyolo, Conrad Hilton Foundation led by Marc Holley Vice president Strategy and programs; Sr. Jane Wakahiu LSOSF PhD who is Associate Vice President, CNHF & Head of Catholic Sisters Initiative; Sr. Josephine Kangogo DSH Chairperson of AOSK and CERRA-Africa Board as well as the The Vice Chancellor of CUEA, Very Rev Prof. Stephen Mbugua Ngari.
The Centre endeavors to bring together Associations of Catholic Sisters to collaborate and network in conducting and participating in Action Research: giving the sisters the ability to base decisions about their lives and apostolate on verifiable evidence.
