Over 150 girls from Kibera & Mathare Schools of Hope for a thrilling Girls Football Tournament under the theme “Saying No to School Dropout & Teenage Pregnancy.” 💪🏽📚

The energy was electric – from competitive matches to a vibrant halftime music & dance show by Mathare Social Justice! 🎶💃🏽

🏆 Mashimoni Squatters proudly scooped 1st & 2nd place, with Gituamba taking 3rd place. 🎉

We wrapped up the day with refreshments and gifting each girl sanitary towels – ensuring they go home empowered, supported, and smiling. ❤️

On 14th August in collaboration with , students from 17 Schools of Hope came together for our Talent Festival under the theme “My Waste, My Responsibility.” 💚♻️

As the school calendar unfolds, students in the Schools of Hope are thriving — not only through their evening studies but also by actively participating in chess, football, volleyball, netball, art, life skills, empowerment sessions, and even soap making! 🎓⚽🏐🎨♟️🧼✨

These diverse activities, guided by passionate supervisors, are helping shape well-rounded, confident individuals. Schools of Hope continues to bring joy, creativity, and real hope to our students. 💛🇰🇪

Five Schools of Hope came together for our very first Arusha Got Talent event — and what a show it was! 🎤🎨💃
With a broad, open-ended theme, our students brought incredible creativity to the stage, proving that when given the space, they truly shine. ✨
This wasn’t just an event — it was a celebration of talent, courage, and self-expression.
We laughed, we learned, we cheered… and most importantly, we saw potential unleashed. 💫

Over the weekend, 233 teachers from Kibera, Mathare, Wamuini, and Kisumu took part in a Chemistry INSET. The training focused on effective classroom management and innovative approaches to teaching Chemistry in school settings. 🧪📚

Big wins for ChallengeAid! 🎉 On March 15, 2025, our Under-15 & Under-17 chess prodigies from Kibera & Mathare dominated the Chess Kenya Regional Competition, securing ALL four spots (2 girls & 2 boys) in the National Championship! 🔥👏

Celebrating International Women's Day with girls from Schools of Hope in Kibera, in partnership with 🌟 This year's theme, Accelerating Action, was brought to life through empowering discussions, inspiring testimonies, and a shared sense of support. We ended the day with a lunch and the distribution of dignity packs, empowering the next generation of women.
