A LEGENDARY VOICE HAS GONE SILENT. 🕊️🎙️
For generations, one voice meant courage, leadership and hope.
Peter Cullen, the legendary Canadian voice actor who brought Optimus Prime to life, has passed away at the age of 85.
From the original Transformers animated series of the 1980s to the blockbuster live-action films beginning in 2007, Cullen gave Optimus Prime more than a voice — he gave him a soul. His unmistakable performance became part of cinema and animation history and inspired generations of audiences, actors and storytellers around the world.
His legacy reminds every filmmaker and performer that sometimes a voice alone can create a character the world never forgets.
As Cullen so beautifully carried through his life and work: “Be strong enough to be gentle.”
From all of us at Spectrum Film School, we celebrate the life, artistry and extraordinary legacy of Peter Cullen.

Behind the scenes of Scars of Justice 🎬🔥

For us, this production was not only about making a film it was about creating a real learning ground for our students.

Our Spectrum Film School students had the opportunity to be on a live feature film set, take part in the production process, shadow experienced professionals, learn set discipline, observe departments in action, and interact with some of Kenya’s respected actors and filmmakers.

This is what practical film training looks like: learning by doing, growing through experience, and being part of real stories that matter.

A huge thank you to the cast, crew, mentors, and partners who made this experience possible.
