Bloom Garden Schools, in partnership with Lift the Children Foundation, successfully conducted a training session for directors from various children’s homes, focusing on the fundamentals of special needs education and inclusive practices. 💛

The session aimed to equip leaders with practical skills and knowledge to better support children with diverse learning needs, ensuring every child is seen, heard, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Together, we are building more inclusive spaces where every child belongs. 🌱✨

🚨 THINGS TEACHERS SHOULD NEVER DISCUSS WITH PARENTS 🚨

Sometimes, teachers get into trouble not because they’re unskilled, but because they say things they shouldn’t.

To maintain professionalism and peace of mind, here’s what to avoid in conversations with parents:

✅ 1. Your personal struggles
Parents don’t need to know about your stress, finances, health, or frustrations. Keep it professional — oversharing can undermine your authority.

✅ 2. Other teachers’ weaknesses
Never say, “The previous teacher didn’t do a good job” or criticize colleagues. It makes you look unprofessional and could come back to haunt you.

✅ 3. Internal school issues
Salaries, management conflicts, or staff disagreements are private. You’re there for the students, not to gossip.

✅ 4. Details about other learners
Avoid comparisons or labels like “Your child is better than John” or “Mary is difficult.” It’s a breach of ethics and can hurt relationships.

✅ 5. Personal dislike for the child
Even if a student stresses you, never share negative feelings. Keep emotions separate and focus on the child’s growth.

✅ 6. Sensitive info you can’t verify
If you’re unsure, don’t say it. Guessing can create unnecessary problems.

💡 Rule of thumb:
Talk only about the child’s progress, behaviour, needs, and improvement plan. Parents respect teachers who communicate with clarity, boundaries, and wisdom.

📚 Being professional doesn’t make you distant — it makes you trustworthy.
