How often do we allow what we are going through to define who we are?

It happens more easily than we realise.

Over the years, I have learned that the people who encourage, lead, coach, and inspire others are walking their own journeys too. They face questions, disappointments, and uncertainty, just like everyone else.

There comes a moment in life when the labels we once carried no longer feel like they fit.

The title that once defined us.
The role that once gave us confidence.
The achievements that once made us feel valuable.
The expectations we worked so hard to meet.

For many women, identity becomes attached to what we do, what we achieve, who needs us, or what others recognize us for.

You were created for more and your identity was always meant to be anchored in Him.

Hello, hello! 💚💚

Happy New Month and welcome to July!

Can you believe we have officially stepped into the second half of 2026? What a gift it is to see a new day and a new month. To God be all the glory.

It has been a little while since I last showed up here, and it feels so good to be back.

These past few months have been a season of growth, reflection and renewal. I am returning with renewed strength, a positive mindset, greater clarity and an even deeper passion for what God has placed on my heart.

I have also noticed many new faces in our community. Welcome! I am so grateful that you are here.

Throughout this month, I will be reintroducing myself, sharing the heart behind The Lady Anchored, and opening up more about the “why” behind this space. If you have been here for a while, thank you for staying on this journey. If you are new, I cannot wait for us to get to know each other.

My prayer is that this continues to be a place of encouragement, growth and hope as we navigate life together.

As we begin July, I pray that this month will be filled with God’s goodness and mercy. May His favour go before you wherever you go. May He give you wisdom, peace and courage, and may we all remain sensitive and obedient to His leading.

Here’s to thriving, shining and becoming all God has called us to be.
