Offline on Purpose: Protecting Our Children’s Future

You may have noticed we’ve been quieter online lately, and it’s intentional. We’ve taken time to pause, regroup, and reflect on the very real dangers our children face today, especially in digital spaces. Recent news from Australia, where children under 16 will soon be banned from social media, only reinforces how risky early online exposure has become.

Beyond social media, families are navigating increasing gun violence in schools, rising tuition costs, and relentless societal pressure on our kids. Add to that the growing mental and emotional health crisis, anxiety, depression, comparison culture, sleep disruption, and it’s clear our children are carrying far too much, far too soon.

For these reasons, we’re asking families to seriously consider stepping back from posting photos or personal information about their children online, and to follow Australia’s lead by keeping children off social media, even private accounts. This is about reclaiming privacy, protecting emotional and mental well-being, and choosing intention over exposure.

And don’t worry, there are still meaningful ways to share life updates without social public posting. Connection doesn’t have to mean visibility.

Thank you for understanding and for standing with families who are choosing to protect childhood. 💛

🔍 The search continues for our beloved school mascot, Baddi. 🐱 We’ve felt every minute of his absence, and our hope to find him remains strong.

In a bittersweet twist, we were preparing to welcome Louey Oreo as Baddi’s adopted brother. Unfortunately, Baddi went missing just before Louey’s arrival. 💔 Heartbroken, yet committed, we honored our pledge to adopt. Louey Oreo has since been thriving with us as an indoor-only cat 🏠 (fingers crossed 🤞 we can keep this curious one indoors!).

We’re learning to smile again, thanks to him. 😊 If you have any leads on Baddi, please get in touch. Let’s reunite these would-be brothers. 🐾✨
