Don Bosco Technical Institute Marsabit Education and community empowerment The Province has its headquarters in Nairobi with 27 institutions throughout the Province.

The Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) – Eastern Africa Province (Nairobi-AFE) – are part of the big Salesian Family founded in 1859 and present in 132 countries in the world, among which 43 African countries. The Salesians of Don Bosco Eastern Africa Province are actively present in four countries: Kenya, Tanzania, Sudan and South Sudan. DBDON (Don Bosco Development Outreach Network) is the program imp

lementing Agency of the SDB AFE. DBDON is mandated by the SDB AFE to raise the needed resources to annually equip more than 3,000 young boys and girls with various skills (technical and life skills) that assist them in their search for securing a relatively decent livelihood. In Kenya, the Salesians of Don Bosco have operated since 1980 and provides technical training in five well equipped institutions: Don Bosco Embu, Don Bosco Makuyu, Don Bosco Boys’ Town (Nairobi), Don Bosco Kakuma and Don Bosco Marsabit.

We're honoured to be featured for the impact of our agricultural initiative in Marsabit. We remain committed to Skilling Youth and Transforming Lives, not only in our workshops and classrooms but also through sustainable agriculture that empowers our school community.
