*26. Renewal of registration
*(1) An individual private security service provider shall annually register with
the Authority in a manner prescribed by the Authority.
(2) An application for renewal under this section shall be made to the Authority
in such form and manner as may be prescribed and shall be accompanied by—
(a) the prescribed application fee; and
(b) evidence of having undertaken training in security matters of not less
than a week in the preceding year. 2)Are private security service companies allowed /accredited by the psra to offer security courses/trainings? No, they are not allowed since psra has license for different categories of security services: 1- corporate security service provider 2- private security training institutes/Academies. Although they are supposed to work together by physical attendance in the institute. Or the private security companies hire accredited instructor’s registered with the institutes to offer training in person within their facility. The institution then issues the certificate which has GFN printed on it.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PRIVATE SECURITY PROVIDERS
A registered private security provider shall—
(c) provide basic training for new employees, were state institutions
do not provide it, and internal training systems which shall cover
international and national law, cultural sensitivity, first aid and gender
issues and further training on a continuous basis.
(j) develop internal systems of governance including a code of conduct,
and policies on the recruitment, training, financial and contractual
policies and registration of employees, amongst other things, and
these systems will be open to public scrutiny at all times.
