FUN ON THE GREEN AND TEAM BUILDING

With hearts full of immense gratitude, we extend our deepest appreciation to the entire Kenya Methodist University (KEMU) alumni community who graced the Golf Training Event with their presence and spirit. The lush greens of the Windsor Golf & Country Club on Sunday, the 3rd of August 2025, were brought to life by your magnificent support.
This memorable occasion was made possible through the visionary collaboration and leadership of several key figures, to whom we owe special commendation:
Mr. James Thiong'o of Engolf, for his expert guidance and invaluable partnership.
The KEMU Management, under the distinguished leadership of Ms. Judith Chelagat, whose support was the cornerstone of this event's success.
The KEMU Alumni Executive, ably represented by the steadfast commitment of Chairman, Hon. Philip Maobe, and the diligent oversight of Treasurer, Ms. Angelica Mutisya.
The vibrant convergence of alumni, university leadership, and industry partners was a powerful testament to a profound truth: Diversity is indeed Synergy. The day was not just about sport, but a beautiful exhibition of how our varied strengths, when united, create an impact far greater than the sum of its parts.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

Date: Friday, 20th June 2025
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Venue: PrideInn Hotel, Westlands, Nairobi
Format: Blended (Physical & Virtual via Zoom)

Pursuant to Section 6(ii) of the KeMUAA Constitution, notice is hereby given for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Kenya Methodist University Alumni Association to be held as scheduled above to transact the following business:

AGM AGENDA

1. Establish quorum

2. Note apologies

3. Confirmation of minutes of previous AGM

4. Matters arising from minutes of previous AGM

5. Receive and adopt the Chairman’s report

6. Receive and adopt the audited financial statement for the period 2023–2025

7. Receive a report on activities undertaken during the previous year and a proposal for activities for the following year

8. Appoint independent auditors for the year 2025/2026

9. Proposal to create regional and diaspora chapters

10. Adoption of the New Constitution and Elections

11. Any other business which, due notice, will have been received by the Secretary not later than 5:00 p.m. on 9th June 2025
