Update ~
Commission for University Education is currently investigating circumstances under which Dr Oscar Sudi and others were awarded Honorary Causa Doctorate degree by Northwestern Christian University at Eldoret Polytechnic.Meanwhile,The Engineering Board of Kenya Has Ordered Northwestern Christian University-Kenya to Immediately remove prefix Eng. from Oscar Sudi’s Honourary Doctorate Degree.

The board opines that the use of the prefix Eng. before one's name is protected by law and there are legal requirements that must be met which Oscar Sudi lacks.

They have ordered the university to remove the title and issue him with another certificate or face legal repercussions if they defy.

This lady YVONNE deserves justice. Her woes began the day she questioned the effectiveness and capacity to represent teachers and keep holding offices in the Teachers Union. Akelo Misori and his old age group suspended her from the Union. It's time for true Unionists to liberate their unions from exploitative puppets like KUPPET.

Hello Mwalimu FAME IS SHAME.
1)If you get a loan to buy a GERMAN machine ndio wakutambue you are done. It's shame to have a car you can't afford to do regular maintenance.

2) If you Get a loan, to pay dowry and make the WEDDING of the year. You will cry, wedding doesn't keep marriage a life.

3)If you get a loan to build a 5bedroom mansion or bungalow in the village then be sure it will be double or triple responsibility for you. Many are cripple because of this move
4) Mwalimu do not accept to be the guest of every funds drive in the church, in the village in the market... God in all His might does not grand to every prayer.
5) Mwalimu there is something called UPKEEP for children born outside wedlock, their is also maintenance for divorced wife. That's a 18 or so years loan. Avoid it
6) If they are not in business do not get a loan to start them a wholesale stores shop. Pesa yako itapotea Bure. Whoever has more will be given.

If 17K was enough to maintain you then 25 is enough. Always have money within your manageable levels especially those of us who are generous.

I work best when I have debts to pay.

This is a family from Tharaka Nithi, not Siaya, the home of professors!

As you reflect on their accomplishments, give a thought to the Parents. From the way they named their children, I would guess they are deeply religious besides the high premium they seem to have placed in education!-

Tsc Killed Kakamega North Sub County tsc director

Update ~

Justus Ndubi, Kakamega North Sub-County Director, died in his house this week after battling a depression related to his wife's death. He had failed to secure a transfer back to Nairobi to give her some attention.

Ndubi, a graduate of Moi University, was plucked from the discipline department at the TSC headquarters and transferred to Lunga Lunga Sub-county in Kwale in 2018, which boarders Tanzania on the coastal strip, and it is one of the remotest sub-counties in the region.

Ndubi, one of the longest serving staffers at the commission headquarters, was then having a sickly wife with a terminal illness. He asked the commission to consider reposting him back to the headquarters or any sub-county within Nairobi in order for him to provide care and support for her.

However, the commission decided to transfer him to Kakamega North Sub-county in the Western region. His wife died last year, upon which Ndubi wrote an emotional message to the TSC CEO Dr Nancy Macharia and the former staffing director Rita Wahome.

The message was widely shared and circulated among his colleagues and workmates on May 25, 2023 on various platforms.

According to his colleagues, the wife died alone in their Nairobi home. This death, according to his workmates, hit him hard and his character changed drastically.

They said he would show up at work late, missed crucial meetings, at times spoke to himself, and kept to himself quite often. He was also said to have isolated himself from his friends and family, raising a huge concern.
He also went into heavy drinking, a behaviour his peers say was quite unusual.

His colleagues said he had failed to show up at work on the fateful day. They checked on him at his house, only to find it locked from inside.
It was then that the police were alerted, who broke into the house and found his body lying in a pool of blood. The postmortem conducted later indicated that he died of cardiac arrest

Good morning Kenya,
From fire incidents seen recently, this is
School dormitories death prevention;

1. Lights should be switched off once the pupils/students are asleep.
2. Windows should not have metallic grills.
3. A single dormitory to have approximately 4 operational doors.
4. Alarm switches be installed for emergency alerts/response/rescue when there is need.
5. Electrical malfunctions to be fixed once identified.
6. Fire extinguishers be provided and learners/teachers be trained on how to use them.
7. A good number of guards in schools to enhance safety through regular checks and reporting of observed risks for immediate actions by the schools' administration.

These and many others can help save lives.
