Honoring Sacrifice and Faith on Eid-al-Adha"

Today, I want to share the meaning of Eid-al-Adha, or the "Feast of Sacrifice." This festival honors the remarkable devotion of Prophet Ibrahim, who was willing to sacrifice his own son out of complete trust in Allah. Before he could, Allah provided a lamb to take the son's place.

So, this Eid isn't just about celebrating—it's about remembering the power of faith, resilience, and putting God first. It also marks the end of Hajj, the sacred pilgrimage to Mecca.

For three days, Muslim families worldwide gather for prayer, feasting, and exchanging gifts. But the true spirit lies in sacrifice and sharing. One-third of the meat from the sacrificed animal is kept for family, one-third is shared with relatives, and one-third is given to those in need.

Ultimately, Eid teaches us that true sacrifice isn't about loss—it's about giving what we love most for a higher purpose. On behalf of all Muslims, Eid Al Adha—may this day bring peace and blessings to everyone. On behalf of the entire Bellevue School Nairobi community, we send you our heartfelt greetings on this blessed occasion of Eid. We are grateful for the dedication and spirit each of you brings to our school family. As you celebrate with your loved ones, we pray that this special day fills your hearts with happiness and your homes with peace.

Happy Eid Al Adha to you all.

Warm regards,
The Bellevue School Community

Thank you.

To Our Esteemed Parents and Dedicated Teachers,

📢 You are the compass, we are the explorers.

As we sail into Term 2, 2026, a defining moment awaits your Grade 4-5 learners—choosing their specialization subjects for Year 6. This is not just a tick on a form. It is the first real handshake with their future.

🔍 Learners ask:
“What if I choose wrong?”
“What if my dream job needs a subject I didn’t pick?”

🎯 We answer:
That’s why we need YOU—side by side, guiding, not dictating. Listening, not just advising.

✍🏽 Join us at the PTA Meeting
📅 Date: 26th May 2026
⏰ Time: 2:00 PM
📍 Venue: Bellevue School, Nairobi

🎤 Let’s turn “I don’t know” into “I’ll try that.”
🤝 Let’s turn fear into focus.
💡 Because when parents, teachers, and learners choose together—no ceiling is too high.

Come with questions. Leave with a plan.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, dear learners, teachers, and parents.

We are deeply grateful to welcome you back this second term of 2026. Discipline is the bridge between good intentions and lasting success – in both this life and the next.

This term, we will focus deeply on obeying rules, maintaining consistent order, and upholding a strong code of conduct – not as restrictions, but as the very framework Allah has placed in our lives to grow with barakah.

For our learners: self-discipline is your superpower. It means motivating yourself before others have to remind you. It means taking personal responsibility – following rules not because you are watched, but because you want to please Allah and become the best version of yourself. It means consistent, efficient, and productive behavior every single day.

With a strong partnership between parents and teachers, we will ensure proper training, loving correction, and firm guidance are done with wisdom. Together, we will help every learner grow to their best ability and achieve their goals – bi-idhnillah.
