As Kenya School of Government celebrated its centenary, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya challenged graduands to see the milestone not just as a celebration of the past, but as a call to future leadership.

“Education is not a medal to pin on the chest,” she said, “but a lamp we carry into dark rooms so others may find a way forward.”

Dr. Imbunya urged the new generation to transform knowledge into service, professional excellence into integrity, and leadership into tangible impact that uplifts communities and strengthens the nation.

As KSG enters its second century, its greatest legacy remains the ethical leaders it continues to produce, custodians of hope and national transformation.

35 MILLION CONTRIBUTED BY ODM MPS AT THE SUNA EAST WOMEN EMPOWERMENT, VS 5 MILLION CONTRIBUTED AT LURAMBI BY FARUK AND KAKAMEGA MPS.

Hon. Junet Mohamed proudly announced he had contributed KSh 10 million during the Suna East Women Empowerment Harambee, presenting it as a major boost for local women.

ODM leadership present contributed at least 35 million on camera. The money was to be distributed to 20 women groups most of them with less than 100 members.

The same type of event was happening in Kakamega. where government allied mps, speaker and faruk Kibet gave 5 million to be distributed to over 300,000 members of various women groups. They came in choppers and danced around flashing large amounts of cash.

The questions which Senator Godfrey Osotsi and Linda Mwananchi are asking is.. where is this money coming from? They hire choppers and give large sums of money.

Residents are now reaching out to us to help them ask this.

Where did these millions go? Who received the money? Where is it banked. Which women's groups benefited? What projects can be seen on the ground?

Ama mwenye pesa alichukua yote after hii sarakasi?

These empowerment forums are money minting schemes, with no audit report or checks and balances. Its a big con.

TSC KENYA Signs Historic Agreement with Unions on Revised Career Progression Guidelines

The commission has for the first time ever, made sure that teacher unions will actively participate alongside the TSC in the SRC Job Evaluation process to establish fair bands, grades, and job descriptions across the Public Teaching Service.

This took place on June 18th, 2026, Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Acting CEO Evaleen Mitei led the Commission in signing a landmark agreement with teachers' unions, officially endorsing the new Career Progression Guidelines (CPGs).

This historic framework effectively replaces the rigid 2018 guidelines, which have outlived their usefulness following Kenya’s historic shift from the age-old 8-4-4 system to outcome-based Competency-Based Education (CBE).

Key Pillars of the New 2026 CPG

Dual Career Pathways:

For the first time, teachers can choose to progress strictly within classroom teaching or via institutional leadership. Classroom teachers can now rise to the rank of Chief Principal without being forced into administrative roles.

Accelerated Advancement:

The structural reset reduces total career levels from 56 to 43, dramatically shortening the timeline required to reach the highest professional grade from 30 years down to just 18 years.

Standardized Professional Development:

The CPGs provide a clear, structured roadmap for basic career requirements, continuous training, and predictable promotions upon joining the Teaching Service.

Transition to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC)

The newly signed CPGs will now be transmitted to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) to initiate an extensive Job Evaluation exercise.

By aligning teacher promotion with competency and performance rather than vacancy availability, this milestone agreement marks the end of long-standing career stagnation for thousands of Kenyan educators.

PRINCIPAL SHAKES HER BREASTS TO IMPRESS FEMALE STUDENTS IN A BOARDING SCHOOL

When you see recently introduced disco and dancehall moves, like the "Siaka challenge," being danced by principals in front of their pupils, know that these school heads are being held captive by students and forced to do things that even the devil would be ashamed of.

CCTV cameras in dorms, eating cakes with students, and performing provocative dances like shaking your breasts to tunes like "Siaka" are some of the things our learners are using to blackmail teachers so they do not burn down schools.

This is Metkei Girls High School principal, Madam Rosemary, competing against her student in the "Siaka Siaka" challenge—a dance that involves shaking your mammary glands wildly and seductively. Ask yourself: why would girls be so keen on watching fellow girls shake their breasts in a boarding school? What is the end game?

Our learners are beyond our control as teachers. They actually know more about, and have more s*x, than their teachers have had in their entire lifetimes. These s*xual dances are proof that LGBTQ acts are very much alive in schools, and homos*xuality remains the biggest threat to our learning institutions.

Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi has joined the powerful Senate Standing Committee on Finance and Budget for a high-stakes, multi-day inspection tour tracking the implementation of the Financing Locally Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) programme across the county.

A massive Sh515 million jointly injected by the FLLoCA program and the Vihiga County Government is currently funding critical climate resilience initiatives designed to shield local communities from environmental shocks. The heavy-hitting oversight delegation, chaired by Mandera Senator Ali Roba, is actively putting faces to these projects, verifying that paperwork matches the physical reality on the ground.

Accompanied by Vice-Chairperson Hon. Tabitha Mutinda, Hon. Essy Okenyuri, and Kakamega Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale, the lawmakers are scrutinizing key installations, including vital solar-powered water projects, reforested ecological zones, and community-led adaptation ventures.

EVALEEN MITEI DESTROYS THE DEMON CALLED OPPRESSIVE CAREER PROGRESSION GUIDELINES (CPG)

TSC acting CEO EVALEEN MITEI has announced a major shift in teachers lives.

Appearing before the National Assembly’s Departmental Committee on Education at Bunge Towers on 13 May 2026, acting CEO Eveleen Mitei confirmed that once the National Treasury releases these funds, more than 30,000 teachers will finally be promoted before the end of the year. The commission intends to utilise the end-of-year window to process applications, ensuring that successful candidates transition into their new grades by the start of the 2027 academic year. This exercise will also see 20,000 intern teachers confirmed to Permanent and Pensionable terms, ending the purgatory of precarious employment for thousands of young educators.

Under the CPG, teachers in non-administrative grades found themselves trapped in a holding pattern, forced to endure competitive interviews simply to climb the most basic rungs of their career ladder.

The numbers painted a bleak picture: the commission under Nancy Macharia openly admitted that over those ten years, it had conducted promotion interviews on only three occasions, creating a suffocating backlog of eligible teachers who remained locked in the same job groups for years on end.

Teachers in their late forties and fifties spoke of untold professional pain, their experience and loyalty ignored under CPG.

The lessons we learn of the CPG’s decade of failure is one that cannot be forgotten.

Policies designed without adequate funding, implemented without proper structure and defended long after they have proven themselves broken do not merely inconvenience teachers.

The shackles of the CPG have been struck off. EVALEEN MITEI has once more proved that what was lacking at TSC KENYA was progressive leadership, and a bad mentality of the former CEO and her team.

Vihiga county did not pay Harry Ritchie, who performed an electrifying performance of hit song omwana INYANYA that got president Ruto and Central Organization of Trade Unions - COTU - Kenya sg Francis Atwoli Ebs on their feet during labour day celebrations. As such, he has quit music production citing frustrations and being misused.

CECM (minister for social services in Vihiga County) Dr. Ruth Egesa aka Rose Diemma. We want her to Pay Ritchie and other artists who performance during labour day or we visit her office in a major way.

We have in our possession records showing that the county government in conjunction with COTU, budgeted over 3 million for entertainment on labour day. The main entertainers were Akibambo, Ritchie and Vihiga Chorale. Pay them.

No wonder UDA PARTY has mobilised groups in full parafanalia to up all tents at the Labour day celebrations at Chavakali High School in Vihiga. Most people in Vihiga are on payroll of politicians and politics.

Thats why labour day looks more of a political rally than a workers day.
